There are multiple ways Melissa can work with you, depending on the level of involvement you require. Here is a brief overview of the different style packages on offer.
BASIC: GENERAL STYLE ADVICE & INSPIRATION
This option is perfect if you are looking for some professional help with your own decorating project. It helps you identify the style you’re after, the colour scheme you should be working to and the type of furniture and accessories you should be looking for. Following an initial chat to understand your budget and preferences, Melissa will produce design boards showing wall and floor treatments, lighting, furniture and accessories to suit your brief. You will then have the opportunity to make one round of amends where the scheme can be modified if you wish. Finally, you will receive the finished boards along with a checklist of items you should be shopping for - an excellent visual tool to help you create a “designer look” on your own.
MID: ROOM MOCK-UP & SHOPPING LIST
This is perfect if you decide that you would like to continue your project independently but require mock-ups to show how your existing and new furniture will fit and be arranged in your room. Here Melissa will help you visualise your space and curate your furniture wishlist so that you can confidently carry out the scheme yourself. In this package she is able to provide you with a comprehensive “shopping list” of some or all of the desired elements featured in her design to make it a seamless project for you to undertake independently.
Customers often upgrade from basic to mid package once they have seen the designs, and of course this is perfectly acceptable.
PREMIUM: COMPLETE DESIGN & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
This package is perfect if you would like Melissa to completely manage your decorating project for you, including: purchasing and organising the delivery of goods on your behalf, briefing and managing decorators, curtain-makers, contractors etc and delivering the room to you finished and styled. No effort on your part - Just that “ta-daa” moment when the beautiful room is handed over to you.
Please note that payment is required for each of these packages before work starts.
For the Premium Package, you will be invoiced and required to transfer funds to cover payment of contractors and for the purchase of goods in advance. Rest assured that you will never, at any time, be invoiced for more than standard retail price for any goods purchased on your behalf.
