The leaves are turning and the streets are filled with that gorgeous autumnal tint. Why not bring those colours in to your home and welcome your guests with cute decorations indoors? The great thing about autumn decor is that you can create really simple and inexpensive displays.
Take a look at my coffee table arrangement. I’ve gone for something very casual that gives a bit of warmth and celebrates this wonderful season we’re in. Nature is changing before our eyes, so I’ve gone for very obvious earth tones. I’ve used dried moss to line the base of my dish, and scattered a few colourful leaves. I’ve also used a lovely tealight holder made from rustic tree bark. As autumun isn’t just about new sights though – but also new smells – I’ve added a lovely spiced apple candle to fill the air!
To give a small unexpected twist, I’ve incorporated a few old books I had at home which really helps to stylise the arrangement and draw people’s attention…
This was incredibly easy and cheap to make, and best of all, guests really notice it!
As another low-cost idea though, try playing with a few red and yellow apples for an organic and edible arrangement. Or why not fill some cute glass jars with pop corn, dried beans or nuts? Autumn decor can be both beautiful and functional…
Adding these small touches to your home will really get you feeling excited about autumn and make you want to go and jump into a pile of leaves!
